Our Involvement with The Clothing Closet

The Clothing Closet, building hope, self-esteem, self-acceptance, is in partnership with the Upper Room Christian Church in Middletown, CT.

We at GOODWorks understand that developing a positive and effective mindset is of utmost importance when recovering from traumatic events.

GOODWorks is, at its core, a supportive community that achieves these goals through a variety of means, such as our weekly workshops, New Beginnings Mentoring program, and Clothing Closet. Our Clothing Closet is in partnership with the Upper Room Christian Church in Middletown, CT.

The Clothing Closet builds hope, self-esteem, self-acceptance, and a sense of inner strength for our mentees to start their lives over again with pride.

We provide clothing of all types (coats, jeans, t-shirts, sweaters, blouses, etc.) at no charge.

All women are welcome to our Clothing Closet, regardless of whether they are in recovery.

You can find us at 262 Bee Street in Meriden. Please call (860) 490-7198 for a referral.
